More parents should make it a policy to be happy as long as their children are happy. If their child is an adult then they are free to do as they please and it isn't the parent's responsibility any more. Whatever your kid does or doesn't should not be something you love them less for and if it is not physically harmful to them and if it doesn't put them in a potential situation where they may be incarcerated then why the hell should you care about anything else other than their happiness. If it is friends then happy day - if it is lovers then that is fine too - and who are we to judge if it is a fling or a permanent thing or whatever? Let them do their thing.
